Billy Owens was one of the best power forward’s in Syracuse Orange history. Owens scored 1,840 points, 910 rebounds and 381 assists in 3 seasons at Syracuse. Owens average 17.9 PPG, 3.7 APG and 8.8 RPG. Owens was later selected 3rd overall in the 1991 NBA Draft, and went on to have a solid 10 season career in the NBA, where he played for Sacramento, Miami, Seattle, Philadelphia and Detroit. Owens was named to the Syracuse All-Century team in 2006 and had his uniform retired by Syracuse in 2008.
