Phil Simms was one of the best quarterbacks in Giants history. Phil Simms led the Giants to two Super Bowl championships. On top of his two Super Bowl rings, Phil owns 19 team records. Simms has the club record for the lowest career interception percentage and most passing touchdowns (184) in his career. Phil took home the Most Valuable Player award in Super Bowl XXI. Ottis Anderson was one of the backs for the Giants during their Super Bowl win in 1986 and became the featured running back for the NY Giants in 1989, a season in which he rushed for over 1000 yards and won the 1989 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. He helped lead Big Blue to the Super Bowl in 1990. Once there, Anderson’s performance garnered him Super Bowl MVP honors rushing for 102 yards and a TD in the Giants 20-19 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Eli Manning, quarterback of the New York Giants, has improved his game each year since joining the team in 2004, building to a remarkable 2007 season that saw Big Blue earn a wild card spot in the NFL playoffs with a 11-5 record and shake off underdog status to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.
