Dick Butkus is widely regarded as the greatest linebacker of his generation and one of the best football players of all time. Butkus was picked third by his hometown team the Chicago Beras in the 1965 NFL Draft. He became a memebr of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979 and in 1985 the Dowtown Athletic Club of Orlando Florida created an award in his name. The Dick Butkus Award is given to the nations best Collegiate Linebacker. Dick Butkus has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of him running to make a tackle and added the special inscription 'HOF 79' A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
