The NHL took to the ice for the first time in 1942-1943. Back then there were just six teams the Montreal Canadiens Toronto Boston Bruins Detroit Red Wings Chicago Black Hawks and New York Rangers. This unique farmed and matted 16x20 collage features black and white images of the six arenas in which the teams originally played and each photograph has been signed by one member of the team that played in that arena.
