The highlight of his career came in 2006 as he helped the St. Louis Cardinals capture a World Series Title. That Post Season Suppan started a pivotal NLCS Game 7 against the Mets allowing only 1 run over 7 innings earning NLCS MVP honors in the process (0.60 ERA over 15 innings).
