The New York Jets selected quarterback Mark Sanchez out of USC in the first round 5th overall in the 2009 NFL Draft. Sanchez came to the Jets after a season at USC which saw him lead the Trojans to a 12-1 record. Sanchez threw for 3207 yards 34 TDs and only 10 interceptions.
