In November 1992 the New York Yankees made one of the best trades in franchise history. They acquired a feisty outfielder named Paul ONeill from the Cincinnati Reds in return for outfielder Roberto Kelly. The rest is history. With the Reds ONeill had butted heads with manager Lou Piniella. The fresh start in the Bronx elevated ONeills game. There he became a perennial All-Star and was the heart and soul of 4 World Series Championship teams. The 1994 Batting Champion earned the nickname Warrior for his intense style of play. A career .288 hitter ONeill hit 281 HR and had 2105 hits over the course of his 17-year career.brbrO'Neill is featured in this Newsday 16x20 cover reproduction print which comes framed exactly as pictured.
