YANKEES MANAGER JOE GIRARDI SIGNS EXCLUSIVE, MULTI YEAR COLLECTIBLES DEAL WITH STEINER SPORTS

New York, NY, May 5-Fans of the Bronx Bombers, who are known for their long line of legendary managers, now have the chance to bring home a piece of history from the newest Yankees skipper. Yankees manager Joe Girardi has signed an exclusive, multi-year collectibles agreement with Steiner Sports, it was announced today by Brandon Steiner, founder and CEO.
The deal gives the New York-based Steiner Collectibles the opportunity to offer fans of the Bronx Bombers a full line of historic Girardi memorabilia in the final season of Yankee Stadium. The Yankees skipper, who wears number 27 symbolizing their quest for a 27th world championship, is a three time Yankee world champion as a player. The World Series hero and Manager of the Year is already one of the most popular and respected figures in baseball. In addition, Girardi was a mainstay in the broadcast booth as a Yankees commentator.
Girardi has had a long association with Steiner, and signing the Yankees skipper to the exclusive agreement continues the relationship into his managerial career.
Girardi will also be featured in Steiner's new "Inspirational Product" line, which follows great coaches and athletes throughout history, including Tony Dungy, Joe Torre, Charlie Weiss, Tony LaRussa and Lou Holtz.
