Detroit Tigers were able to beat the Kansas City Royals 8-4 on April 5 2010. The Royals bullpen gave up their lead in the seventh Roman Colon Robinson Rejeda and Juan Cruz gave up six hits and six runs. Yuniesky Betancourt hit a home run for Kansas City getting two runs for the Royals. Billy Butler also had two RBIs with two outs. Zack Greinke allowed six hits and one earned run on an RBI single by Miguel Cabrera after pitching six innings. Greinke left with a 4-2 lead but Detroit had a six run rally.
