NBA superstar Tony Parker was born in Belgium and raised in France and the San Antonio Spurs selected the talented point guard 28th overall during the 2001 NBA Draft. Parker made his NBA debut on November 30 2001 becoming just the third French player to make the transition. Parker earned All-Rookie First Team honors in 2001-2002 and hasn't looked back since helping lead the Spurs to NBA Finals wins in 2003 2005 and 2007. Along the way Parker has earned two trips to the All-Star Game and was named the NBA Finals MVP in 2007 after the Spurs swept the Cavaliers 4-0.
