A two-time All-American out of LSU Aaron Nola was regarded as one of the top amateur pitching talents in the summer of 2014. In addition to his dominance of the SEC in his 3 seasons for the Tigers, Nola was named national pitcher of the year and a finalist for the golden spikes award as the nations best collegiate player following his Junior season. With the 7th overall pick in the 2014 MLB draft Nola was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies as one of their pitchers of the future.
Following the draft, Aaron Nola spent the summer of 2014 and early part of 2015 working his way up the ranks of the Philadelphia Phillies farm system. Nola was called up by the Phillies on July 21st, 2015 and would go on to put together a 6-2 win-loss recording while pitching to a 3.59 ERA in 13 starts.
During the course of the 2016 and 2017 season's Aaron Nola would show flashes of brilliance as one of the bright spots for a rebuilding Phillies club. In 2018, Aaron Nola was named the Phillies #1 and the opening day started. Paired with former Cy Young award winner and world champion Jake Arrieta, the Phillies have accelerated their rebuild behind Nola, Arrieta and other budding stars Rhys Hopkins, Carlos Santana, and Odubel Herrera.
In June 2018 It was announced that Aaron Nola signed an exclusive autograph memorabilia agreement with Steiner Sports, the leader in authentic hand-signed collectibles and memorabilia.
