Aaron Rodgers is a baaaaaaaad man!

Rodgers was born in Chico California, to a family that was very sports oriented and wanted their children to play professionally at a very young age. Rodgers was a very athletic child as he was the star baseball player of his little league baseball team. As he reached high school, it was clear that he wanted to play football at the next level as he set a school record of 2,466 total yards in a single season. Rodgers would have no scholarship offers to play collegiate football, so he decided to play junior college football with the hopes of being recognized and offered by a division I school.

His hopes would come true as he would join the University of California Golden Bears after just one season as Junior College. He would beat almost any and every challenge that came his way as his signature moment was defeating then #3 ranked school in the country, USC. He also led the Golden Bears to a 10-2 record and a top 5 ranking in his Junior—and final—season in college. He decided to forgo his senior year to enter his name into the 2005 NFL draft.

Rodgers would once again have to wait before playing in the setting that he desired. After being drafted 24th overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers, he would be the backup and future successor of NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre. Rodgers was ready to rock and roll by the time he was named starter to begin the 2008 NFL season. He quickly became one of the NFL’s elite and had turned the Packers into a contender year and year out as he just carved up every defense that was in his way. In his third season under center, he led the Packers to a Super Bowl Title as they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 behind a Super Bowl MVP performance. Rodgers would continue to grow and shine as he is widely seen as the best quarterback in the NFL and one of the best pure passers in the history of the game.

Aaron Rodgers can squeeze a football into just about any window that he pleases. That is the reason that his list of accomplishments is undoubtedly going to end up with him in the Hall of Fame. After 11 seasons of being the starter for the Green Bay Packers, he has a Super Bowl MVP trophy to his name, has been elected to 7 pro bowls, three All-Pro teams, and has been the NFL MVP twice!
