Georgetown University has produced some of the greatest NBA centers of all time. Since 1985, the university has produced three centers that have become members of the Naismith Hall of Fame and another five centers that have played in the NBA. Patrick Ewing, the New York Knicks center, was the first great man in the middle to play at Georgetown, and Alonzo Mourning became the third legendary center to walk the yard in Washington D.C.
