Coming from a humble background and standing at just five and a half feet tall, Webb was doubted by many. Webb did not have big-time college basketball offers out of high school, so he began his collegiate career in junior college and led his team to a junior college national title in 1982. After leaving junior college, Webb ended up at North Carolina State University where he would play two seasons before being drafted in the fourth round of the 1985 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons. Along Webb's journey, many people said he would never make it to the NBA because he was too short, but he did it anyway. This basketball is autographed by Spud Webb with a silver paint pen. Webb's signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA's 5-step authentication process.
