At Steiner Sports we are in a unique position where we get to help sports fans share meaningful moments with the athletes they look up to.
This past week at our Yankees Dynasty event celebrating the 1996 World Series team, we partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and their Light the Night initiative to surprise Quinton, an 11-year-old survivor of lymphoma, with a night he would never forget. He got to meet Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte, Tino Martinez, Doc Gooden, Cecil Fielder and Jim Leyritz.
Watch below to see the moment unfold.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Random Acts of Light initiative allows celebrities and notable individuals to surprise people touched by blood cancers with special meetings that shine light on the darkness of cancer, and make a real impact on the lives of blood cancer patients.
