12-year-old with Down Syndrome Strikes Out Batter to End Final Game of Season

12-year-old Brayden Gero, who is no stranger to the spotlight after meeting President Obama and riding a duck boat with Tom Brady, is back in the news as part of another heartwarming story.

Brayden, who has Down Syndrome, was pitching in his team's final Little League game of the season after playing throughout the year in the outfield. In the video below, the last batter of the ballgame is seen being struck out by Brayden and when it's all over, both teams mob the pitching mound in celebration.

Consider this today's reason for why we love sports.
