2-Year-Old Named After Mariano Rivera Already Hits Dingers

New York Yankees legend Mariano Rivera's influence stretches far-and-wide. MLB's all-time saves king and a future Hall of Famer, Rivera is considered one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. And thanks to five historic postseason runs to World Series titles in the Bronx, he has millions of fans across the globe.

Transplanted Yankees fan Jay Tinsley and his wife Nina now live in Arizona, but their days on the East Coast are not forgotten. They are still Yankees die-hards and even named their now 2-year-old son after Mo.

Little Mariano already has a penchant for baseball, although he may be destined to be on the receiving-end of 96mph cutters down the line.

Here you can see him squaring up a pitch, looking like Clu Haywood (Major League) in the box, that he drives up the middle for a base hit. He needs a little work on his base running, though. That's okay, he's got at least 20 years until his call-up.
