Craig Sager to Join ESPN's NBA Finals Game 6 Broadcast

A heartwarming story coming out of Bristol, Connecticut. The NBA on TNT's Craig Sager, who has endured a highly publicized battle with cancer, will join ESPN's NBA Finals coverage team on Thursday.

Sager, who just completed his 17th season roaming the basketball sidelines for TNT and in his 34th year with Turner overall, will also be honored by ESPN this summer with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at The ESPY's.

Often recognized for his colorful attire during his TV appearances, Sager has been a symbol of hope for cancer patients across the globe. After a recent relapse of his cancer in March, he has vowed to, "make medical history," and vowed to fight until the end of his battle.

Tributes have come in from all across the sports world, including various anchors sporting wild outfits on NBA sidelines, a tribute sock collaboration from Stance and Tykes and an HBO special.

Hats off to you, Craig.
