Fly Ball Hits Tim Tebow in the Head, Results in Triple

Tim Tebow, who has been tearing the cover off the baseball at Double-A for the New York Mets organization, was recently named to the 2018 Double-A All-Star Game. But last night, he did something much less notable on the field.

With the Binghamton Rumble Ponies playing the field with the Portland Sea Dogs at the plate, a ball was hit to left-field and bounced off the "Maine Monster" (their version of Boston's Green Monster" and smacked Tebow right in the head. The ball ricocheted to the left field corner and the batter, Josh Ockimey, ended up at third base with an RBI Triple.

A small blip on the radar for a former football-turned-baseball player that has made tremendous strides this year, so much so that fans are questioning if Tebow may merit a Major League call-up!
