It was perhaps the most unbelievable stretch of play a former bench warmer ever had- Linsanity took over New York when Jeremy Lin was a member of the New York Knicks. It began in February 2012 when Lin captivated Knicks fans, and really the entire basketball world, with his electric play that included scoring barrages and buzzer-beaters.
The 27-year-old has since spent time with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets. Today, Lin himself announced that he will make a return to the five boroughs by signing with the Brooklyn Nets.
With Lin's return to NYC, we look back at his time with us at The Times Center in Midtown Manhattan. Here Brandon Steiner asks if Lin believes in divine intervention given his humble beginnings and ascension to center stage in the NBA.
