Manu Ginobili retires after 16 NBA seasons

San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili has called it quits. The 4x NBA Champion, 2x All-Star and 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist has retired from the NBA after 16 seasons in the league. 

It's the end of an era in San Antonio, as Ginobili was the last of the Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Ginobili trio that won four titles to officially depart from the Spurs franchise. 

Ginobili, who was an international star before coming over to the NBA in 2002, is one of eight players in history to win four NBA Championships and an Olympic Gold Medal, and the first player born outside the United States to accomplish the feat.
