Yahoo Sports!'s The Vertical is reporting that the New York Knicks have traded for 2011 NBA MVP Derrick Rose. The star point guard, who has been plagued by knee injuries in recent years, will look to revitalize his career in the big apple under the direction of new head coach Jeff Hornacek.

Five players are involved in the trade. Forward Justin Holiday will also be dealt to New York along with a 2017 second-round pick in exchange for Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant.
