Seagull Nearly Plunked By 90 MPH Pitch

The Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins went into extra innings yesterday, and anytime baseball games go past the 10th inning, the fans get a little restless. Some decide to leave because they need to get home; others stay for the game's entirety. The seagulls...well, they get a little restless too.

With many fans leaving the game, the feathered foes flock down from the rafters to see what leftover food there is laying around. One seagull in particular must be counting his lucky stars after he strayed a bit too close to the action:

This pitch was reminiscent of this infamous Randy Johnson incident back in the day:

Besides this "foul fiasco," Johnson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015 for his stellar career, which spanned 22 years with the Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees, and San Francisco Giants. His fastball was known to reach speeds of well-over 100MPH. Luckily for the seagull yesterday, The Big Unit wasn't on the mound.
