NEW ROCHELLE, NY, April 13 -- Steiner Sports Marketing & Memorabilia today announced it has added to the company’s The Beatles product line to commemorate the release of the band’s famed album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
It gave The Beatles the opportunity to experiment musically and create an innovative sound. It was recognized as the #1 album on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
An ink drawing from Paul McCartney inspired the album’s cover artwork and it incorporated designs by pop artists Peter Blake and Jann Hawarth. The album’s sleeve vivid colors and unique design make it one of the most highly recognizable pieces of cover artwork ever. Steiner Sports’ new product line features canvas and photo prints of the timeless album cover. Limited edition (of 67) releases of a stunning three-dimensional rendition of the album cover and a hand-made drum with the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band have been created. Both the three-dimensional collage and drum will include limited edition certificates of authenticity from Steiner Sports and Apple Corps.
“The Beatles continue to transcend music and popular culture,” said CEO Brandon Steiner. “Steiner Sports is proud to celebrate the band’s lasting legacy.”
