Tim Tebow Hits Walk-Off Homer, Hitting .327 in High-A

In true Hobbs-ian fashion, after years off from the game, Tim Tebow is once again making fireworks.

Tebow, who's made a highly publicized career switch to professional baseball players with the New York Mets and hit a home run on his first professional pitch faced earlier this year, recently received a promotion to the High-A St. Lucie Mets in the Florida State League.

Last night in the bottom of the seventh inning (of a double-header) Tebow blasted a solo homer that lifted the Mets to victory over the Daytona Tortugas.

This comes just two weeks after Tebow hit a home run in his St. Lucie debut.

What's next for Tebow?

The question is, does he get a 40-man roster spot and a call-up to the Mets at the end of the season? My gut is telling me it's a lot more likely today than it was two weeks ago.
