Vontae Davis calls it quits... MID-GAME?!


"I shouldn't be out here anymore."

10-year NFL veteran cornerback Vontae Davis decided during yesterday's Buffalo Bills game that he no longer had what it took to play in the league.

"[He] pulled himself out of the game," Bills coach Sean McDermott said. "He communicated to us that he was done."

Here's his official retirement statement, which he delivered immediately after his team's 31-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers:

Where do you stand on Davis' decision? Should he have at least waited for the game to end, or was it more respectful to his team for him to leave and let someone else fill the void?
