Pound for pound one of the greatest pure point guards in NBA history, Chris Paul is one of the games great "Floor Generals". As an All-American prospect coming out of West Forsyth High School, Paul burst onto the national stage as a star at Wake Forest University in his hometown of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.


During his freshman season at "Wake", Chris was named the 2004 ACC Rookie of the year and third team all-conference. In his sophomore campaign, Paul would take his game to the next level while leading Deamon Deacons to a national #1 ranking for the first time is School History. Paul would go on to finish the season as a consensus first-team All-American and would declare for the NBA draft. It was in that 2005 NBA Draft that Chris Paul was selected with the 4th overall pick by the New Orleans Hornets.

During his is 05-06 rookie season in New Orleans, Chris Paul would be named to the NBA's "All-Rookie" team and would receive the 2006 "Rookie Of The Year" award. In 2008 Paul made his first NBA All-Star game appearance as a member of the Hornets and has been named to the all-star team 8 times since 2008. In addition, paul was named "1st Team All-NBA" for the first time in his career, an honor he has taken home 3 more times since 2008. 

 

Before the start of the lockout-shortened 2011 NBA Season, Chris Paul was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Teamed with superstar forward Blake Griffin and center De'Andre Jordan, the Clippers became know for their "Lob City" high flying style of play. For the next six seasons, Paul would lead the Clippers to playoffs only to see them exit without a championship in each of their playoff runs.


With a rebuild on the brink in Los Angeles, Chris Paul was dealt the upstart Houston Rockets before the start of the 2017-18 NBA season. In Houston with fellow superstar Guard James Harden, the Rockets has become of the leagues most exciting teams and have been picked by analysts as the favorites to dethrone the favored Golden State Warriors as the NBA's next great "Super-Team"
