Graig Nettles one of the finest defensive third baseman to ever play the position was a key member of four pennant-winning New York Yankees teams in 1976-78 and 1981. He manned the hot corner when the Bombers won it all in 1977 and 1978. He led the American League in home runs in 1976 received a Gold Glove Award in 1977 and was named the seventh captain in Yankees' history on January 29 1982. Regarded as one of the greatest catchers in baseball history, Lawrence Peter Yogi Berra played 18 seasons for the New York Yankees. Throughout his illustrious playing career, Berra helped the Yankees win 10 World Series Titles and was voted 18 All-Star Games. The 3-time American League MVP has his number 8 retired by the New York Yankees and was inducted to Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1972.
