St Louis Blues Memorabilia

The Western Conference NHL team based out of St. Louis, Missouri was one of the first out of six teams added to the league back in the 1960s. Led by Coach Scotty Bowman, the Blues made it to the Stanley Cup each year within the first 3 seasons but was only able to take home the NHL West Division. The hot streak came to an end in 1970-1980 but was brought to life again when the team acquired Brett Hull (son of NHL Hall of Famer Bobby Hull) during the 1987-88 season. Hull scored the most goals in franchise history throughout his time with the Blues and put the team back on the map.

The Blues appeared in the playoffs for 25 consecutive seasons from 1980-2004, one of the highest playoff berths in history, but had many failures once they reached the postseason. The team has experienced many different owners throughout the years and struggled to take the Cup that they’ve come so close to but never touched.

In the 2018-19 season, the Blues finally won the Stanley Cup for the first time in the franchise's history defeating the Boston Bruins in 7 games. The Blues had been swept by the Bruins in the 1970 playoffs and almost 50 years later, the Blues came back for their revenge.
