After leading Archbishop Mitty High School to three consecutive California state championships and being named the first ever Gatorade National High School Volleyball Player of the Year, the volleyball legend was the #1 volleyball recruit in the country of the 1996 class. Walsh Jennings continued her greatness at Stanford, as she was named a first-team All-American all four years. With a 122-11 overall record, Walsh Jennings and the Cardinal won four Pac-10 championships and back-to-back national championships in 1996 and 1997. She was named the Final Four MVP in the 1996 title run. Walsh Jennings was the first player ever in the conference with 1,500 kills, 1,200 digs, and 500 blocks in a career.
