As the world started to take notice, Tyson was scheduled to compete for the WBC heavyweight championship against Trevor Berbick on November 22, 1986 in an event called Judgment Day. Coming into the match at 27-0, the 20-year-old Tyson was ready for anything Berbick through his way. Tyson dominated the whole match and with a left hook to the head in the second round, he took down Berbick to claim the heavyweight championship.
