While she dominated everywhere she played, a big part of her success came in the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP). She first played on the AVP tour while still in college and did well right away. After a couple years away, May-Treanor returned to the AVP tour with teammate Kerri Walsh Jennings. Together they went on a record-breaking run that included three AVP Crocs Cup Championships and six AVP Team of the Year awards. May-Treanor also won numerous individual awards, including four AVP Most Valuable Player awards, five AVP Best Offensive Player awards, and three AVP Best Defensive Player of the Year awards. She is widely considered one of the best two beach volleyball players to ever play and her run of dominance in both the AVP tour and international competitions may never be matched.Misty May-Treanor has autographed and inscribed this volleyball.
