May-Treanor would transfer these skills to the beach volleyball game, where she would go on to be one of the best to ever play the sport. While consistently winning and setting records, she won multiple professional awards that include four AVP Most Valuable Player awards and two FIVB Most Outstanding Player awards. May-Treanor is most known for her Olympic beach volleyball success, where she and Kerri Walsh Jennings together won three gold medals.
