Return Policy

Need to Return Your Purchase?

 

Thank you for considering Steiner Sports for your collectible needs.  Over the last 30 years, we have become the industry leader in quality, professionalism, innovation and authenticity.  We hope that you treasure your collectible for years to come.

 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we do offer you the option to return your collectible.  Collectibles that are returned will incur a 15% re-stocking fee and the following steps must be taken to ensure that you receive your refund:

 

  • Please contact your account executive at 800-759-7267 or our Customer Service Department at (914) 307-1127 for your Return Authorization (RA) number.  You may also email us at returns@steinersports.com
  • Label your box as listed below and add your Return Authorization number to the box:

  • All items related to the collectible you are returning must be returned, this includes letters/certificates of authenticity, etc.

 

 

  • Ship your collectible via a reputable shipping carrier that provides tracking updates.  We suggest insuring the shipment in the event that the item is lost in transit.  You are responsible for the order until it arrives at our corporate office.

 

Claims for damaged items must be submitted within 7 days of the date your shipment was delivered. A claim may require inspection by the carrier, so all original packaging materials and boxes must be kept as received to ensure the claim is processed.

 

If your item arrives damaged, please follow the above steps and we will coordinate an even or comparable exchange for you.  We will work diligently to replace your collectible as quickly as possible and provide a return label.

 

Typically once received your return will be processed within 72 hours and can take up to 5 days for refunds to be applied as we may require your credit card.  Credits can take anywhere from 2-10 days depending on your banks policy.

Please note, the following Items are NOT eligible for return or exchange under any circumstance:

  • All custom orders, including custom framed photos and jerseys
  • Game Used and Game Issued Items
  • Vintage Collectibles
  • Collectibles that were sold as Blemished, Final Sale, As Is, or Damaged
  • Merchandise that has exceeded the 30 days from receipt of the order
  • Collectibles that exhibit tampering with the Steiner Sports hologram
  • Experiential Events and/or tickets
  • Items purchased on our SteinerAuctions.com platform
  • Fan Boxes
  • Gift cards/certificates
  • Send ins/unique items signed by athlete/individual

 

Autograph Care

In rare instances, autographs may unexpectedly fade over time, often for no apparent reason or when exposed to direct sunlight or a constant light source. When displaying autographs, Steiner Sports recommends collectors keep their items away from windows and direct internal lighting and store autographed items in either UV protective glass cases (baseballs, footballs, basketballs, helmets, equipment, etc.) or frame autographed items with UV protective glass (photos, jerseys, etc.).

Due to the unpredictable nature of in-home storage, Steiner Sports is unable to offer replacement items for signatures faded on items that were purchased through third parties or directly from Steiner Sports greater than two years prior.
