Frank Frisch was a second baseman for the ages. The Former New York Giants star came up in 1919 and had an immediate impact without ever playing a game in the minor leagues. Frisch was considered by many to be an excellent hitter and base runner as he led the NL in steals in 1921 hits in 1923 and runs in 1924. Frisch had a lifetime batting average of .316 with 2880 hits 105 HR and 1244 RBI over an 18 year career. Frisch was a 3x All Star 4x World Series champion and won the NL MVP Award in 1931. Frisch was inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1947. Frank Frisch has hand signed this 1972 personalized letter to Frank Weinberger. A PSADNA Letter Of Authenticity is included.
